This work centers around our passive observation and stressful anticipation of the events developing after February 24, 2022. The interior shows decay and a satellite image of a road crossing near Bakhmut, Ukraine released by Maxar technologies. The building where the setting takes place is a brick building displaying stability and comfort to the person sitting. The further building is actually a dormitory for the veterinary school backyard in the artist’s hometown, Lviv, Ukraine. The trees in between buildings, or displaying invasive plants that with time cause suffocation of the host plant. This is an artist's metaphor for the invasion of foreign language, ideas, and corruption into the Ukrainian landscape.
