"This photo was taken during an ethnographic journey through the Ukrainian Carpathians. We wanted to see the origins of the weaving tradition specific to this region. We woke up at dawn when the shepherd’s bells were already ringing and his calls to start a day could be heard. The sun was breaking through the clouds and the morning fog like a magic beam, illuminating the way for the sheep. For the shepherd, it was a normal day, and for us, one of the most spectacular views to experience. There was this incredible simplicity and harmony at the moment. William Blake's “Shepherd” swirled in my head as I continued to follow the sheep’s way." – Vadim Khudoliy
